Depot Paddock

See area 2 on Aerial Photo Map.

The 5.6  paddock north of the sugar gum plantation. At some stage the eastern half has been sown with pasture grass (Tall Fescue) and this is fairly weed free although Chilean Needle Grass and Patterson's Curse are starting to take over. The eastern half has a mixture of grass, mainly weeds such as Chilean Needle Grass, Fog Grass and Brown-topped Bent, plus rushes in the wetter area.

There has been some natural regeneration of Red Gums recently. (Whenever recent regeneration is mentioned it can be assumed to have occurred in the very wet summer of 2010/2011.) There are some Sugar Gum saplings within 30m of the plantation.
