Sweat Bee (Lasioglossum peraustrale, Female) at burrow in rotten stump
A female approaching her burrow in a rotten tree stump, her hind legs heavily encased in white pollen. Another bee can be seen in a burrow opening at the bottom of the picture. Taken early November.

There were at least 30 burrows in this stump. The opening of each is 5 or 6mm diameter.

The male is similar but with white markings instead of yellow.
