Ant on Sticky Everlasting

The flowers of the Sticky Everlasting quite often have ants on them. I have seen at least three species, which I will call big, small and in-between since I have not identified them. The big ants and the small ants can be seen in the photos above eating the papery bracts which surround the unopened flower heads. The in-between ants seem to want to squeeze themselves between the bracts to get to the base of the head.
