Woodlands Historic Park True Bugs

Geranium Stilt Bug Nymph at Woodlands Historic Park
Geranium Stilt Bug Nymph, early August. About 10mm long.

This species does not "officially" have a common name. I have called it the Geranium Stilt Bug because it is only found on plants in the Geranium family, including Austral Stork's-bill as shown here. Strangely enough it is a predator so it does not actually feed on the host plant, but rather on other insect species which feed on the host plant, such as Aphids.
